One of the most important quality of a Financial Advisor is to have a sense of humour and the ability to laugh at himself or herself.

Humour and Humility act like a lubricant during a client meeting that brings the temperature down and creates a conducive environment for a business discussion.

Ironically when one takes himself too seriously nobody else does.

Overseriousness and intensively product oriented makes the customer flinch and go defensive that brings a sense of uneasiness to the environment.

Take it easy. Inclucate a sense of humour and humility.

A self deprecating approach or having the ability of laughing at yourself is an amazing trait that cools the business atmosphere.

Business is not about products. It’s about connecting with people using humour, humility and self deprecation.
